Biography:

Dr. Machumi is a public health expert with > 10 years’ experience in program implementation especially in patient-centered Health Information System Design, Monitoring and Evaluation. He has led teams of system developers to design, test, deploy, and monitor Surveillance systems (eIDSR, DHIS-2), HIV prevention care and treatment data management applications--coordinating supportive supervision and mentorship of field workers to ensure proper and uniform understanding of the data collection and use system. He has also assisted the GoT in planning, development, deployment, use and monitoring of systems such as eIDSR, POE, NHCR, AfyaCare, CTC-2, DHIS-2, Health Facility Registry, and mHealth. He is a member of the National M&E and ICT TWGs.
